 Special Podcast/Internet Rates

Scott Fletcher supports the Podcasting movement and Internet Radio, both for hobby and for profit.  He understands that most podcasters and Internet Radio folks want to get started for little-to-no money, and that most podcasts will be non-commercial forever.  Scott wants everyone to have a chance at "the big time," and to have the resources to make it happen.

Note: If you would like to request Scott Fletcher to record your voiceovers for your commercial podcast or internet show, please visit our Commercial Rates page and request a quote.  Internet-only voiceovers for commercial shows cost between $60-$100 depending upon length.

Non-Commercial Podcast Voiceover Rates

Non-Commercial podcasts are shows that contain no paid sponsorship or advertising.  Scott provides short sentences and phrases (called "liners") for non-commercial podcasts at a deeply-discounted rate. 

These liners have no music of sound effects.  You can use these liners to create your own produced show opener, or use them for closing tags for repetitive contact information, etc. 

Dry Liners:

Podcast Advance Commercial Script Program

The key to getting advertisers to sponsor your podcasts is to prove to them that you are serious about their message.  You'll often need to give them samples of your commercials.

Scott Fletcher understands that many podcasters don't have much money to get started.  With that in mind, we have set up a special program that allows podcasters to provide potential advertisers with sample commercials on a "spec" basis.  Think of it as "an advance" that you will pay back if you use the commercial in a podcast.

How it works

  1. You e-mail us indicating that you are interested in this special Advance program.
  2. We e-mail you a PDF document containing the Advance agreement.
  3. You fax us back the signed agreement.
  4. You e-mail us up to two advance scripts (no more than 30 seconds in length each).
  5. We e-mail you the advance audio files.
  6. You demo the commercials to your prospective advertisers.
  7. The advertisers love your show and the commercials, and the advertisers pay you money to sponsor your show.
  8. You pay Scott Fletcher the agreed-upon rate (between $40-$75) the first time you use the voiceover in a commercial podcast or internet show.

Note: This is a not a casual favor; this is a formal agreement that you sign indicating that you understand the terms of the agreement.  Typical turn-around for advance scripts is 48-72 hours.  Emergency turn-around might not be available for advance scripts.
